Gearbulk launched its international Graduate Programme last week and will be accepting applications until 24th April.
In 2014 Gearbulk aims to recruit graduates in Weybridge (UK), Rio (Brazil), Shanghai (China) and Tampa (USA). We are looking for graduates with business acumen, a global mindset and a desire to develop a long-term career in shipping to join our Graduate Programme.
The two year programme offers graduates the opportunity to undertake international placements across the business to become fully immersed in the operational and commercial elements of shipping. The programme kicks off in September 2014 with a two week residential training course which includes a wide range of speakers, field trips, personal development and networking opportunities. The course provides an intensive introduction to Gearbulk’s business and gives an insight into many aspects of the shipping industry.
Following the two week course the graduates will then embark on their international placements supported by a local mentor. Throughout the programme, graduates will continue to develop their technical knowledge and personal skills through on-the-job training, coaching and personal development workshops.
Peter Norborg, Chief Operating Officer:
