SSI will be participating in the Green Ship Technology conference (GST Europe) taking place 20-21 March 2019 in Copenhagen.

Ship recycling – cleaning up our act
From 2019 EU flagged vessels will have to be recycled at one of a list of approved European ship recycling facilities. At this crucial juncture the panel will address the questions:
- What are the challenges and barriers to achieving ship recycling that maximises the recovery of reusable materials in a safe and environmentally sound manner?
- What drivers or incentives are needed to improve recycling practises?
